6 months agoThe receptionist was passively aggressive to me, and made me to pay for a costly operation despite I was insured. I visited a doctor at Aava and got to know that I should do a small operation. After the operation, a receptionist refused to use my insurance and I was had to pay for the costly operation on my own: * I said to the receptionist that I have if.fi insurance from my employer. * The receptionist requested a printed contract. * I answered that the insurance company hadn't provided me with a printed contract but I could show her an online version. * After that she stopped the conversation about the insurance and made me pay for the operation. * I paid for the operation as she requested, and asked if she will notify the insurance company for the refund. * The receptionist told me that I must contact the insurance company instead of answering my question. I have visited other medical centers with the same insurance but I didn't have any problems with it. If there was any issue with my insurance, the receptionist could provide me with the information, but she didn't tell me anything, and there wasn't any help from her side. Aava Kamppi was the first place where I had an issue with my insurance company. Aava Kamppi was the first place where I was asked about a printed insurance contract. Aava Kamppi was the first place I was felt humiliated. One more unpleasant part with the receptionist was when I asked her name and she started pretending that she didn't understand what I talking about. If she knew she did everything right, she wouldn't afraid to tell her name and woudn't behave like this. That was the worst medical service during my 4 years in Finland. Can't recommend this place. P.S I don't wish any person after medical treatment to have a hassle with a money refund instead of having rest and recover in a calm atmosphere.

a week agoOk, now I know why the rating is like that. I visited a neurologist doctor, visit was paid by the insurance company. During the visit doctor said that will call me after clarification of one moment, so not to do that during appointment. I waited mora than 1 week - no call. Ok, I called customer service, like why the doctor didn’t call. They said - he didn’t work since that day of visit and we will make a note so he will call you for sure, ok, fine. Then the question I was not ready for you came - are you ok if we bill the call and send to your insurance, it is covered by your insurance. My correct behavior would be like and do I have to pay for that in general, as this is a small clarification with doctor. But I was confused and just said ok. Doctor called me and then after some time I received a bill from Aaava for 107,50 eur and something. And now they are saying that I have to discuss with the doctor it if I had to be billed or now and it lasts for a long time since it’s very challenging to reach them and doctor didn’t call when it was promised second time. Long story short - I am disappointed with their processes very much.

a year agoAbsolutely unbelievable. Booked time for driving license check up, was told i will be called about the results upto now no call and guess what, the bill is already sent to the address. In short paying for no services. What a scam!!!!

a year agoI brought my mother cos she has a terrible pain when waking which influences the quality of everyday life. From the doctor we got a Panadol prescription and a lot of discrimination. She refused to arrange an appointment with the specialist. The hospital is a waste of time and money

2 months agoVery disappointed with their customer service::( I have been trying to call and reschedule my appointment with a gynecologist but the line was busy. asked to call back and never heard back from them…. Now I have go to my doctor to say hello and can’t do any test …. So bad
